Miss Pahadan 2024 TV reality show was organized at Green Hills Engineering College Solan. Chairperson of this show Seema Kaundal said that the crown has also been designed differently to promote the Pahad culture. The crown has been designed by combining it with the Pahad hat so that “Miss Pahadan” looks in a Pahad look even with the crown. Sardar Kripal Singh Pasricha, Chairman of Green Hills Engineering College, attended this show as the chief guest. He said that it is a matter of pride for Himachal that earlier these competitions were limited to the stage only but this show has shown the participants from Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Nepal on TV. Kripal Singh Pasricha gave crowns and trophies to all the winners and wished them all the best for the future. Principal Dr. RP Singh said that it is a matter of good fortune for us that we got the opportunity to host national shows like Miss Pahadan and Himalayan’s Got Talent.
Dr. Naresh Kumar Kaundal said that Miss Pahadan is a TV show and this is the first TV pageant for Himachal, Jammu, Uttarakhand. On this occasion, director Rakesh Kumar, who also works for Zee TV Punjabi, directed this show. He said that he himself is from Himachal Pradesh and after watching this TV show, he feels that this is a very commendable initiative, soon Himachal will go far ahead in the entertainment field. This show was opened by Gyan Jyoti MD Varinder Chaudhary and he said that this TV show is a different show of its kind which shows Himachali tradition and Himachali culture at the national level.
In this show, the show’s director Dr. Naresh Kumar Kaundal, famous model Pankaj Kumar, famous model and actor Sahil Chalotra, Bollywood actress Puneet Brar were in the role of judges. Sahil Khan and Himalayans Got Talent winner Ishita Thakur were in grooming. In this, famous designer Ashu Arora attracted everyone’s attention with the design of his clothing. Famous makeup artist Priyanka prepared all the participants. In this show, Shweta from Solan won the title of Miss Pahad 2024 by winning the hearts of all the audience and judges with her amazing walk and confident answers in the Pahad round. Mavi Chauhan, a civil engineering student of Green Hills Engineering College, was the runner-up of Miss Pahad. Khwahish from Shimla was the first runner up of Miss Pahad. Prekshi Sharma, a student of Shoolini University, was Miss Confident, Diksha Kaundal was the best ramp walk, Anjana of Uttarakhand was Miss Photogenic, Kanika and Nishita were the best hair and Khushboo Jambar got the title of best traditional entry. On this occasion, MD of Gyan Jyoti Varinder Chaudhary, Bollywood actor Shakir Khan, Vikram Mehta were present as chief guests and VIP guests. As special guests, famous model Misty, Solan’s famous singer Anusha Joshi, social worker Ravi Joshi, from the organizing team, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Nageen Bansal, Dr. Abhay, Dr. Dinesh Kashyap, Engineer Dinesh Kashyap and Vijay Bhavani were present.
