Kuldeep Sharma is a very famous singer in northern India. When he entered the Himachali industry with DHAMAKA 2000, people were happy to listen only to Bollywood and Himachali folk. But Nati was not so popular. In 2004, Kuldeep Sharma changed the format of Nati and moulded it in to a new and different form thus brought forth a new form of Nati. It created a new audience for Nati. People started to listen to Nati everywhere. Now Kuldeep Sharma has become the new star of Himachal. The most popular Nati’s of Kuldeep Sharma are “Rohru Jana Meri Amiye,” “Meri Preity Zinta,” “Dhola Ra Dhamaka,” and “Meri Monika.” He was honored with the International Excellence Award from the World Book of Records in London on July 18, 2024, and got the Appreciation Award from Trana International Australia in October 2024, and he has also been honored with the Him Ratan Award, the Himachal Ratan Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Pioneers of North Award; these all awards he achieved for promoting Pahari culture all over the world. He is the new role model of all the new singers, and he is as famous in Himachal as Rajni Kant in the south and Diljit in Punjab. He is also coming as a judge on the TV reality show Himalaya’s Got Talent, which will be telecast on Zee Punjabi. Kuldeep Sharma is really a living legend of Himachal.
